Rate Schedule for General User Hookups:
BDM RURAL WATER SYSTEM, INC.
RATE SCHEDULE EFFECTIVE FOR JULY 2023 BILLS
Effective for bills received at the end of July 2023 and payable by August 15, 2023, the following rate structure will be in effect:
General User Rates:
Debt Service monthly payment (Base Fee).…. $46.00 per hookup per month
$6.95 / 1,000 gallons for the first 2,000 gallons used per month
$5.95 / 1,000 gallons for the next 5,000 gallons used per month
$4.95 / 1,000 gallons for the next 8,000 gallons used per month
$3.95 / 1,000 gallons for over 15,000 gallons used per month
No water is included in the debt service payment. All water is in addition to the monthly debt service payment.
Payments are due by the 15th of each month. A $10.00 fee applies to all payments received after that date. Service is subject to disconnection if payment is not received by the 22nd. If service is disconnected due to non-payment, full payment of the bill plus a Disconnect Fee of $250.00 (plus other fees as applicable) will be due in order to have service restored.
All customers without a cellular meter are required to read their meters and report that reading each month. If a reading is not submitted for two consecutive months, a charge of $10.00 may be assessed to the account. After that a $25.00 meter reading fee may be added to an account if it becomes necessary for a BDM operator to read your meter.
